I have found an abundance of sources for information. I have learned quite a lot over the years from some of the people involved below. There is no one way to play lacrosse. The more we learn and teach, the better the game gets for our ladies. Most are monetized, so you will have to subscribe, but all are fantastic for building your game.
There is no order in these, so just click and run.

Kara Sanford has a very good array of coaches and players, drills, trainings and a free Drills book from Katrina Dowd for members. I have watched Kara grow the site for a while and she has put together a fantastic resource for the women’s game. I will highlight that it is overall much more beneficial to coaching, so it is a perfect fit for anyone working with youth, MS and HS players.

Damon Wilson is running a very comprehensive site for all goalies. He has added to it by running four summits over the past two years bringing in goalies, coaches and professionals from an amazing range of skill sets to help goalies perform. Have you ever thought of requiring eye drills for goalies? Or how about diet? How about visualization? These are not fringe ideas for goalies wanting to take it to the next level.

This is a site for players and coaches! PLAYERS … and coaches. Kacy Small has put together an extremely strong program of conditioning and performance drills that every player can and should use to build their game. He lays out his workouts as choreography that every player will need to win their goals. He stands by the idea of starting out by learning the steps first and then building up the speed and reflex. Very strong program.

What does one say about Taylor Cummings. She has been providing players with training videos on YouTube and other platforms for all to see and use to build their game. She is tightening up her marketing and it is a great opportunity. It does compete with some of these others. Still, I have been training off her YouTube videos for years.

I have not yet dug into this, but it looks solid. What I am seeing is an annual subscription and a series of instructional packets at a different price from players like Kylie Ohlmiller and Sammy Jo Tracey. I am not sure how the pricing works on these, but by what I CAN see, it has a lot of information from a lot of very qualified players. It is also totally inclusive, meaning it addresses mind/body, conditioning, position plays and drills. So I feel it is definitely worth the investigation.

Lyndsey Munoz has some amazing work that she has done for her Mindset training program. She breaks it down and provides a planner to develop the mental/emotional strength to perform at the highest levels. She complements that with her conditioning program and a very thorough goalie training program.

Found Arthur through Coach Damon’s first Summit. He has some fantastic ideas on strengthening a player’s vision for the game and for their life. This link is an initial explanation and links on to an Instagram account. So, as we put together our training package, we focus on all the parts of our game, not just the stick or the positioning. The package is bigger than one part.

There are a lot of very good instructionals on YouTube. Take your time to search by whatever key words you want. Players’ names is a good place to start.
